A leading construction materials company needed a way to monitor asphalt production remotely across multiple facilities. Their operations team lacked timely visibility and relied heavily on manual reporting, making it difficult to track performance or compare output across sites.
Project Overview
Enabled Insights designed and delivered a fully customised data acquisition and visualisation system to provide real-time insight into asphalt production across multiple sites. The solution integrates directly with each plant’s existing control system, extracting production data at regular intervals without disrupting operations.
This data, initially generated in XML format, is automatically parsed, cleaned, and inserted into a structured central database. From there, it becomes instantly accessible through a secure, web-based dashboard developed specifically for the client’s operational needs. The dashboard allows users to visualise production volumes over time, filter results by location and date range, interrogate trends, and export reports with just a few clicks.
